2011 UPHA Chapter 10 Saddlebred Fall Horse Show.

*           MODEL PHOTO CONTEST: Take a picture of a model horse (Breyer, Stone, etc., NOT A REAL HORSE!) in a setting that makes it look as realistic as possible. 13 & under and 14-17 ribbons plus $25. to first place. Send your entry by Oct. 4, 2011 by mail or attached to an e-mail. We will display everyone’s entries all weekend at the show. You may enter without attending the show. *           TRIVIA TEST: Complete the Trivia test correctly and we will put your name in a drawing for $25 and a special ribbon. 13 & under and 14-17. You may enter without attending the show. You may print and complete the pdf file found here and then mail it in OR you may complete the quiz online by clicking here

*           COLORING CONTEST: 10 & under, 11-13 and 14-17. Pictures and crayons will be available at the show or download the picture, color it at home and return it by Oct. 4th by mail or attached to an e-mail or bring it to the show. Entries will be judged and on display in the exhibition area. You may enter without attending the show. $25. to winner of each division.

*           JACKPOT JUNIOR JUDGING: Compete in the Junior Judging contest conducted at the show, but put $2.00 in the "pot" at the contest desk. Ribbons thru 6th place in 13 & under and 14-17. Highest scoring "Jackpot" entry wins the money in the pot.

*           HIGH POINT YOUTH AWARD: Earn points for any horse you show in any Junior Exhibitor class (6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 for 1st thru 6th place) plus two points each for completing Jr. Judging, Scavenger Hunt, Coloring Contest and Model Photo Contest plus 3 points each for completing the ASIYP Competition and the Challenge Class. 1st place - $25.

*           VERSATILITY AWARD: Earn points (6,5,4,3,2,1) for each ribbon in three or more of these classes: Saddleseat riding or equitation class; Driving; Hunt Seat; Western Pleasure or Stock Seat Equitation; Halter; Showmanship.

*           RAFFLE: Each youth exhibiting at the show gets a ticket to complete and drop in the raffle box. Winning ticket will be drawn at the start of the Sunday afternoon session.


The following two events are open to adults, Junior exhibitors and professionals.

*           STALL DECORATION AWARD: Decorate your stall area for Fall/Halloween. Will be judged ½ hour after the Saturday afternoon show ends. $100. to 1st place.

*           HOW MANY HORSE TREATS: in the container? Write your guess on the paper by the container. Closest guess will win the jar of treats plus a beautiful Breyer model.

To enter the Model Photo Contest or Coloring Contest by U.S. Postal mail, place your unfolded entry and your name, address and phone number in an envelope and send it to:
