ASIYP Competition at the 2011 Fall Horse Show at Ledges
The 2011 UPHA Chapter 10 Fall Horse Show will host an ASIYP Competition with several additional fun classes and special awards sponsored by U.P.H.A. Chapter 10 and the Illinois American Saddlebred Pleasure Horse Association. In addition to competing in the ASIYP Horsemanship class, Pattern Riding, Showmanship At Halter and Junior Judging you will also be required to complete a 50 question written test, Problem and the Hippology stations for your age group. You will once again complete the last three tests online. You will be able to complete these tests at home, whenever you want to take them, between the dates of September 5 and October 4, 2011. All participants are encouraged to form teams of up to four people. Teams are also required to complete the Team Demonstration. Remember, the more points you receive, the better your chances of winning one of the elegant Top Ten prize ribbons in your age group or even the champion's share of the prize money. 2011 Chapter 10 Fall Testing Period Now Open!
The American Saddlebred International Youth Program (ASIYP) is proud to announce that the testing period for the 2011 UPHA Chapter 10 Fall Horse Show is now open!   The open testing period is from September 5th thru October 4th.   All tests must be completed by October 4th to be considered.   Exhibitors who are enrolled in the ASIYP Competition are eligible to receive separate 1st thru 6th place ribbons in each of the testing events plus they will earn points toward an ASIYP Top Ten award in their age division (13 & under or 14-17).
