LEVEL A
level a Level "A" of ASIYP is designed for our younger participants who are not yet ready to read longer text articles. (approx. 6-9 years old). It contains information on safety around horses, colors, parts of the horse, saddle and bridle parts, etc.; pages of educational activities including puzzles, mazes, games, coloring pages, dot to dot, color by number and more. Lots of fun for our early horse lovers! This Level is NOT REQUIRED before Level I ! Please specify Level "A" on Enrollment Form.

LEVEL II - READ & RIDE
level 2 You must have completed Level I to enroll in Level II. This Level will help you learn about the development of the American Saddlebred, riding and training techniques, barn management and how to better understand a horse's behavior to improve your riding and handling skills.

LEVEL III - PARTICIPATION & EXPERIENCE
level 3 You must complete Levels I and II before enrolling in Level III. This Level is designed to encourage participation and experience in all aspects of the horse industry.

    Skeletal and Muscular Structures; Horse Show Etiquette; Description of Equitation Workouts and Patterns; Proper show ring attire; Show manager's guide; Famous American Saddlebreds; Ideal Type of American Saddlebred; Equine Eyes; Genetics of Coat Color; Trail Riding; Parasites; Buying a Horse; Report requirements, Test questions and worksheets.
  • You will receive a Certificate and a Chevron for each Level that you complete. Upon completion of Level III you will also receive a free 1 year Junior membership to the American Saddlebred Horse Association.

    Earn special seals for your certificates by scoring 100% correct on your tests and by completing additional requirements for Levels I thru III. Details will be sent with each Level.
